any leaf that is 2.5 inches wide and from a spring under axle pack will work to give you lift, just keep the main leaf and mix-n-match yours and dakota leaves till you get the lift you want.

How much do you think it would lift just by swapping one set for the others? Even if it didn't lift it much, it would be nice to avoid the normal sag.

don't see any posts where someone thought they were reinforced
SOA you can use blocks for a cheap lift but they can cause axle wrap to the pivot point
SUA you can't use blocks unless you wanna lower it, so in that respect there is less axle wrap

Heads up on Dakota springs
I just got off the phone with John at Standard Spring of Minneapolis Mn, He gave me the low down on the Dakota springs. You can use the leaves from the Dakota pack but not the main leaf. Xj springs measure 23 in front of the locator and 28 5/8 in the rear, Dakota springs measure 24 in front and 32 in the rear, Thus they definately will not work just to swap in. Now as far as the rest of the leaves the Dakota has a reinforced leaf in it to help carry heavy loads(also known as an over loads). It is my understanding this is where the harsh ride comes from when using Dakota leaves. I was just searching my options because my Xj is sagging in the rear with 3" of lift. So I guess I will probably look for a leaf spring pack to solve this problem. So my question is who sells a good leaf pack set for 3-3.5" of lift. Hopefully this will help others thinking about this swap. Thanks Sonny

Use Chevy S10 springs. Take your XJ main spring and add the center leaves from the S10. This will give you the 3" you want plus it will ride a lot softer than the Dakotas.
