Mostly spelling. ;c)

The difference, as far as I can tell, is what comes standard w/ them. Also, the exterior and interior packages, and i think rims. I think the Sports are the most stripped down and the country are the most up-scale. I'm not sure, and I wouldn't roll w/ just my answer. Many people here are more learned on this matter than myself. =c)

I have a 01 Limited. The wheels are the "Icon" silver, like a 5 spoke type job. The body trim is the same color as the body. The trim is the quickest way for me to tell a sport from a limited. The sport has the black trim. Not much info, hope it helps.

Here's what is included in the Sport package. This is taken right off of the sales sticker from the window of my 2000:

SPORT - VALUE GROUP
Air Conditioning
Windows - Power
Locks - Power
Keyless Entry - Remote
Light Group
Mirrors - Power, Fold-Away
Wiper/Washer - Rear Window
Steering Column - Tilt
Steering Wheel - Leather Wrapped
Roof Rack
Floor Mats - Front & Rear

I think classics have all that but adds CD player, cruise control, tinted windows, optional leather seats, and ?

My 2001 Sport has everything except the overhead console, leather, Infinity sound and power adjustable front drivers seat. I do wish I had the console and power seat cause you can lower your butt with that seat - which feels better on my back. Otherwise mine had what I wanted - select trac, up country, abs and tow package.

My 2000 Sport has:
power windows/locks
A/C
Fog lights
Power, Fold-Away mirrors heated
Wiper/Washer for the Rear Window
rear defrost
Tilt Steering Column
Leather Wrapped steering wheel
Roof Rack
Floor Mats Front & Rear
VIN etching
Factory Tint
Painted flares (or did they all have this by 2000?)

No:
ABS (don't want it)
CD
Keyless entry (got an alarm with it)
Power Seat
Overhead console
Leather
Full size spare
Tow hooks or hitch (I plan on getting new bumpers anyway)

Most of the stuff it didn't come with would have been taken out and replaced anyway (keyless, cd, spare, hooks, hitch...)

You can look on my website to see the wheels it came with...

I've seen some classics that didn't have all the stuff mine came with so....

What did the overhead console have in it? I've never seen one...

Here's a nice article explaining the history and differences between the different models.

Great link. A revelation for some.....

Someone on one of the UK boards posted about a "Stealth" model. From memory this was a 95 year model, all in black. More than likely a UK Jeep "limited edition" special to boost sagging sales - did you guys get this?

My 97 ltd black, gray leather, power seats, a/c, cruise, o/h console & raft of useless "features", 6 cd remote changer, Infiniti spkrs, factory fit pir alarm/immobiliser.
K&N panel filter, maybe some performance plugs/leads if anyone can show that they really do work!
Cool regards

Peter
