Red face 96 xj classic shock mounts

I am looking for some help with replacing front end shock mounts. The passenger side is rotted out. I have found some weld on replacements online as well as spring and shock replacements in case the entire setup need repair. I dont weld and most mechanics wont touch the job. I have friends who do but was wondering if there were any bolt on applications. I have searched the forum unsuccessfully. WHat are my options.

You won't find any bolt-on stuff. What is the cost of the repair parts and paying the welder vs. a good used axle ? Around here axles are about $100 at the u-pull-it junkyard, and about $150 at the full-service junkyard.

Your the second person to suggest that. I have not found any in my area. That would be the best scenario.

This will give you some leads and junkyard addresses/phone numbers.
