'94 cherokee ignition fuse keeps blowing

I have a '94 Cherokee sport, 4.0 6cyl, i was driving in a field the other day and my engine just dies, i popped the hood and the ignition fuse had blown. i replaced the fuse, but blew that too. it doesn't blow as soon as i start it up, but after i've driven around a bit. any ideas as to what it could be?
