89XJ Unibody queston

My 89 I use for some pretty serious off roading... The part of the uni body just right in front of the rear wheel wells is rusted out, so I broke a chunck of rust out and stuck my finger in the hole of the unibody and what did i find!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH its full of packed mud and crap. The only thing I can think of doing is eather using compressed air or a shop vac to get it out... I wish XJ were built on a frame somtimes..... Any help on this would be great and also warning.

I'd find a shop that'll 'patch' the hole, then open it up and get all that junk outta there. Once repaired, coat it with Por15. If you are really serious about it, get a couple of steel bristle brushes and resurface the whole underside and coat it all with Por15. Great stuff, resists all kinds of things and in stops rust. You could also use those wheel things that you put on a drill, they remove paint, so I'll assume undercoating, without any issues at all.
