89 cheroke 4.0 vaccum diagram

Does anyone have the exact vaccum diagram for this year cherokee (89)? I think it is most of my problem. Can someone take some close up pics of the vacuum hoses under the hood maybe? I realy need to get this crap straightened out. I have found one place on line with a diagram but it is nothing like mine. Thanx

Just curious what your original problem was? I have an 89 4.0 that does great around town, but has absolutely no guts at highway speeds. I cant even use 5th gear. What pics are you needing and maybe I can e-mail them to you.

Mine to does fine around town. I get onto the pkwy and speed up to around 70. It does fine all the way up to 70. Once I get to 70 and cruise at 70 for a while it starts cutting out. It will run fine for a few seconds then jerk a little. It feels like it would if you pumped the gas pedal while cruising down the highway. That's the best i can describe it. I would like a pic of the vaccum diagram or a close up pic of a 4.0 engine the same year or close. I think it's either the vaccum hoses or the fuel pressure. I figured I would check the hoses first. If you get your's fixed let me know what you did. Thanx

I have some pics of my '88 I6 for you just tell me how you want me to get them to you.
Your problem might be the valve springs. If they get weak they cant close the valves fast enough at high RPMs and this causes erratic vacuum (a vacuum gauge needle will jerk all over the place.

The motor is rebuilt and the head/valves were checked and replaced. E-mail me the pics to travr6@yahoo.com if you don't care. I may be able to see from them whether or not mine are right
Thanx
