88 Jeep XJ doors

I took the doors off my 88 jeep cherokee Pioneer because the power windows wouldn't work and I needed some airflow. I was gonna go to the local salvage yard and see if i could find 2 manual window doors... are all the doors interchangeable ??? or do i need actual pioneer doors?? Will the regular cherokee doors bolt up?? All replies greatly appreciated!

All cherokee doors should work, as long as if you have a two/four door you get the same two/four door.

I think 97+, they changed the door hinges so I would try to get doors off an older xj like yours.

yea. anything from 84-96 will work for you. be careful with the 96's if you find one. some might have the 97+ hinges. they changed them over in the 96-97 years.
