I read that, just have no clue what a trunnion is lol.

Have you even looked under the Jeep to gander at the linkage?

The trunnion is the only piece with a bolt in it.

I did look underneath I saw a nut that was on linkage to tranny and there were two nuts to the tub as well

Look at the transfer case, not the trans......
