8.25 rear disc conversion - Write up

Jeeez, its about time, haha, j/k. I was running around some parts store today trying to find parts that I need. I can't wait to do it. Thanks alot Kap, I deffinatly owe ya one, now I can finally do this without any suprizes.

EDIT: quicky for anyone with a powertrax. To take off the c-clips, do I need to take the locker apart agian or can I take them out with the locker in there

You have to take the locker out to get the driver's side axle out.

What have you done with the e-brake? Does the stock XJ cable work?

The stock XJ cable will work with a few modifications. I am still working on the best way to do it. I'll take a picture of the parking brake lever so you can see how it will need to attach.

In stock form, the cable attaches to the shoe inside the drum, with this form it will attach on the outside. The cable fits where it should, it is just a matter of attaching the cable to the hook.
