62mm Throttle Body

Where can i find a decently priced throttle body? Jeepers and Creeperz website is down. Ive dont alot of research and people like the Rubicon Express one, but i cant find it for sale any more.

Im a little hesitant to buy one off ebay. But any other recommendations would be great

Have yours bored at a local machine shop. Unless you have some serious work done to the head, 24lb fuel injectors and a free flow exhaust you don't need a 62MM TB. A 60MM TB will give a noticeable improvement.

i just found this one on ebay....its a 63mm throttle body. seems like a pretty good deal.

its 160, no core charge, but you do get 50 bucks back if you send them the old throttle body back..

what do you guys think?

I got a 63mm TB and it was perfect, very fast and refunded my core charge quickly.

do you have a drill press? if soyou can do a 60mm your self for the cost of a sanding drum, its really really easy, and like they said if you have just an aftermarket muffler, and maybe a free flow intake, then the 60mm will be fine, if more mods, like greater engine mods then you will want 62mm or bigger

Yup. I did mine on my cheapo tabletop drill press and a $4.00 rubber drum and a $5 pack of drum sandpaper refills. I removed the IAC, butterfly and TPS. Used a marker to mark the butterfly area and went no further than that. Took about 15-20 minutes to do it and polish with 2000 grit paper when done.

im planning on a golen 4.6L stroker and he recommends a 62mm TB and a header. so im looking at a banks header and a 62-63mm TB. he says that could get into the 285 - 300 HP range on his stroker

I have a few 62mm TB's available, professionally machined and cheaper than what you pay on Ebay. Shoot me an email at bountyhunter AT sija.org if you're interested.

X2 on StrokedJeep.com. I have the 60mm for my Renix and it was great, no probs and same experience as tock172. If you just have yours bored out you either need to purchase/fab another butterfly, or only bore the the before and aft of the butterfly. Which to me seems like you'd have a bottleneck, which is what you are trying to get rid of in the first place. When you get the TB from him, it is bored straight through and comes with the larger butterfly, and I can't say enough about his customer service level! The TB from StrokedJeep.com for ur year come in 62mm, 62.5mm, 63mm and 64mm. He also has other parts for stroked engines, hence the name.
