60th Anniversary XJ?

I have never heard of this edition, but it sounds like it has some good stuff. I noticed it has locking hubs, so it must also have LSD in the rear, correct? It sure has some low miles and it is in great shape. Just trying to do some homework.

It has auto locking hubs like any normal XJ. All hubs are locking some (like CJ's) are manual and some (like XJ's) are auto. Not sure if it has LSD, you would have to check. It might or might not. Also it's a 4speed not a 5 speed. I also wouldn't call that a step bumper. It's just a normal bumper.

Looks like a nice choice. The 60th Anniversary Editions are sometimes hard to come by because there weren't many ordered with that package. It's basically the equivalent of a "Classic" with 60th Anniversary badging and different rims.

So there isnt anything on it that distinguishes it from other XJ's? Sounds like paint, badges and wheels. If not I will just look for cheaper jeeps.

stock vs. stock...I would not say that a 5 spd is slower than an auto...I've never thought my brothers 97 5 spd was slower than my 01 auto, if anything I thought the 5 speed was faster.

They are reffering to the auto never came in a 5speed, and 3.07 gears on an auto would suck unless you are running 155/50/13s

Hmm, maybe I should stay away from it. It will be enough of a drastic change going from my fast truck to a slow jeep anyways.
