well when i was installing my 3" RC lift, same one you have, the stock LCA's didn't line up, so i had to jump in, fire it up, and drive it slightly forward and backward while a buddy lined the LCA's up.

something about that begs injury... i would use a ratchet strap wrap it around the axle and then something solid infront of the jeep or maybe the bumper and use that to pull it the inch forward

X2... i used a come-a-long wrapped around the axle and then around a cement crash pillar in the shop.

Ok hold up,

First problem, I tried the ratchet strap idea, and there is not alot of leverage on the handle of the ratchet strap, so that dosent really work. What does work is getting a plumbers wrench, the adjustable one with teeth, whatever you wanna call it. Grab onto the front axle tube and give it a little turn witch ever way.

Second, you need an adjustable trac-bar, re drilling the hole will be an all or nothing solution, I think. because you have to measure, adjust, measure, adjust..... and on a side note, you have to measure it obviousley when all the weight is on the suspension, cause hanging on a lift, it will always be pulled to one side.

My opinon. Good luck.

well my friend, you need a bigger ratchet strap! the pipe wrench does work also, iv heard of this idea, but i also have seen the ratchet strap be more effective. to each his own.

and buying a new adj trackbar, at 5 inches preferably double shear, is the way to go.

X2 on the adj. track bar. You not only add strength to your setup, but it's also the correct fix

Another vote for the adj track bar. I use my porta-power to push the axle gently into place when installing control arms.

To move the front axle side to side, with The vehicle on the ground, and the trac bar disconnected, start her up and turn the wheel slightly, and the axle will move, then measure.
