4x4 Group Buy

Im getting ready to order their RE 3.5" SF full leaf kit with the Free Ome shocks for $780. Anyone have any experience dealing with this company? This seems like a pretty good deal, maybe too good to be true? Im adding the RE adjustable trac bar and transfer case lowering kit too. Other than a SYE, does anyone whos running the RE 3.5 SF have any other suggestions that I need to consider to go with the kit? Im thinking maybe extended front brake lines, but Im not sure whats gonna come with the kit. Thanks for the help.

wow thats pretty expensive especialy with free shocks, with the trac bar and t-case drop thats almost the same price i paid for my 6.5" that comes with all of that.

the brake lines are a good idea

Well, for reference the same RE kit at JO is $720 WITHOUT shocks. To add the same free ome shocks to the kit, you would have to add $280 which would put the kit at $1000 versus $780 at Group 4x4

Seems like a decent deal. RE is good quality stuff, and the price usually reflects that.

I can highly recommend them. I bought my Super 88 kit, D30 Chromo shafts, ARB, Currie steering and a bunch of other stuff from them. The prices were good, even though I had to pay tax, them being located here in Maine. Jason is great to talk to and will set you right up.

Different Jason, but easily reached by phone at 207-998-5701. You may get his wife, which is OK, too. Remember we are on Eastern time, so I'm not sure how late they are manning the phones.

I can highly recommend 4X4groupbuy. Jason (LaLiberty) is a great guy. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times.

I got the exact package from them that you are considering - except I got RE monotubes. It was painless and also the best deal I could find. Customer service was very good. I would absolutely use them again - without hesitation

If you are getting the RE trac bar - do yourself a favor and get the Heavy Duty version; it's the only regret I have that I got the single-shear version. Get YJ front brake lines for a 3" extension over stock or relocate your stock lines.

with the HD trac bar, do you need the bracket for it as well. The Hd one on JO comes with the bracket where as with group 4x4 it doesnt?

I've ordered almost all of my stuff from him. Almost all of it. Even if it's not listed on his site, I shoot him an email and he can normally get it for me. His prices are usually pretty comptetive too. If I can get something cheaper on JO I'll go there, but otherwise I'll always look first at 4x4gb's site. I've referred a lot of the guys in my club to him first, and they've all been happy.
