4wd problem

it seems that the 4wd is a position off in my 00' cherokee sport. it is in 4wh when the lever is in 2w, it is in neutral in 4wh, and it is in 4wl when the lever is in neutral. when i removed the lever cover i found a broken zip tie. any ideas?
