4.7 stroker kit for xj

just wanted to know who makes a 4.7 stroker kit for the xj.

These guys carry a lot of 4.0l performance stuff. If you don't feel like doing the rebuild yourself, they do build turn key 4.7l engines. You can order them from mild performance to completely insane.

thanx for the quick replies guys, i just ordered the 4.7 stroker kit from www.hescosc.com for $2270. i hope to have the engine done by spring.

Why not just drop a bigger engine in the jeep if your willing to pay that much to stroke it?

because it's not that simple, you may be able to buy the bigger engine physically for less but you can't just drop it in.... even doing all the work yourself it's going to cost you a decent chunk of change. And for most people, they are gonna have to pay someone else to do it, which will cost thousands just in install itself.
