4.7 stroker kit for xj

just wanted to know who makes a 4.7 stroker kit for the xj.

thanx,
Lucky

Me and my friends did acid in the woods, 'cuz there was much less chance of running into an authority fugure. But we ran into a bear. And that is way more of a buzz kill. I looked around and saw my friend swearing to prevent forest fires. Later, he came up to me and said, "Mitchell. Smokey is way more intense in person.- Mitch Hedberg

This would be the stroker kit I'd buy:

http://www.hescosc.com/catalog.html

These guys carry a lot of 4.0l performance stuff. If you don't feel like doing the rebuild yourself, they do build turn key 4.7l engines. You can order them from mild performance to completely insane.

Why not just drop a bigger engine in the jeep if your willing to pay that much to stroke it?

because it's not that simple, you may be able to buy the bigger engine physically for less but you can't just drop it in.... even doing all the work yourself it's going to cost you a decent chunk of change. And for most people, they are gonna have to pay someone else to do it, which will cost thousands just in install itself.
