No, the guy above posted a picture of 6" lift on stock trac-bar, but those are deffinately not stock control arms. Are you sure you know what you are talking about, or are you just repeating what you've read?

Hello, post #2, Got a ? about my XJ but can't start a new post yet. What I got is an 86 With the GM v6 and the Chrys. 904 trans. 4X4. I also got a 318 in the garage. Has anyone put a 318 in an XJ using a 904 SB v8 housing, with the tail end of the trans from current set up? I haven't done a lot of looking, but seems to me to be quite do-able. Would be one beasty little 2dr 4x4 XJ.

I was just giving you grief, because of what you wrote here. But I don't believe you can run 6" of lift with the STOCK control arms, and just wanted to see a pic to verify.

I lifted my 5 inches with stock control arms and stock track bar. lasted 2 months before Death Wooble set in. Took it on one trip like that. Went out and bought a RC adjustable track bar and took it in and got the alignment done. Can you do it, Yes, will it last long before you start having troubles NO. RC adjustable track bar is around $100 bucks new.

I would not run over 4-5" with stock LCAS. My boss ran 5.5" of lift on his ZJ with stock arms and track bars. It drove and rode horribly. The arms shown in my pictures are RE adjustable super-flex arms intended for a 3.5" lift. They were adjusted to 1/4" longer than stock. Stock upper arms.
