4.0 Turbo, anyone?

hi peeps,

anyone know any sites/people that have a turbo charger on a 4.0 cherokee, how many psi and does the difrance it makes worth it?
i have a turbo of a nissan zx280 1980's and im thinking of building a pipe kit and installing it..

I believe there is a guy on www.NAXJA.org that has done the turbo on his. The street performance section (of NAXJA) will probably be a huge help for the turbo question.

I use a T3 super 60 on my 4.0. Was runnin 8 psi with 24# injectors and an adj MAP. The power increase is HUGE! I will be adding the SDS EIC(extra injector controller) and stepping the boost up to 12 psi next year when I have a decent fron axle built.

in jp magazine there was an article about a company that is making a turbo kit for the 4.0, forget the issue

I plan on a turbo for my 4.0 i am still looking for a good ems setup though...anyone have any suggestions?

the stock system with a MSD timing master and the SDS EIC works great. If you want TOTAL control over all tuning go with a megasquirt system.

Damn I would do that if htey were close.
But a junkyard biuld will be cheaper, but still figure it will cost your 1000 bucks.
