With the ice melting today and the HEEP gutted I could see where water was coming in from. The hatch does not seal properly. There wasn't a TON of water in the cargo area, but it was enough to do damage over a long period of time. Oh, well... after I get all the rust fixed and raptor sprayed I don't care if it leaks a bit. I guess I'll eventually try and fix that, but it's not a huge deal anymore.

I NEED to find new side mirrors. My passenger side is just JB welded to keep from falling off and then this morning I broke my driver's side one trying to get the 1/2" of ice off of it. STUPID!

The passenger's side is fine. I mean...I'd LIKE to get a new one, but I'm not spending any money on that right now. The driver's side is really just the glass. Is that easy to replace? I've never done that.

Nice! Be sure to prep VERY WELL. I have had some bubbling and chipping in some places where there must have been some dirt or dust. The winter salt and moisture got in and rusted (my front bumper). Might want to POR15 before applying, or some other paint/adhesive promoter.

Edit: They recommend an etching primer if you are applying to bare metal. I didnt do this, but my bumper was supposedly coated in an adhesive promoter, so who knows.

Thanks for the advice man, but have no fear....I'm all over it. I Raptored my TJ last year. I already picked up some rust converter and roof/blacktop sealer to use around the new pans and metal patches. I still have to pick up the self etching primer though.

I haven't done jack **** to the HEEP yet today. My wife came home from work before lunch and we just snuggled in bed It's been awhile since we've done that. I'll be up all night tonight though, because I have to get back on a MIDS schedule since I have to work tomorrow night.
