Zach.... go back to post 137. I rolled them next to my HEEP to see if I like the rims... and I DO! I still like the ones I have on there now, but......

Finally got the HEEP back on the road today after 8 hours in the garage. Replaced the power steering pump bracket, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, radiator hoses, and serpentine belt. The HEEP is running GREAT with no leaks. The oil pressure issue is a TAD bit better, but still not fixed. I have the sending unit to replace, but didn't have time today. I'll give that a shot tomorrow night and if that doesn't do the trick I'm pulling the pan to inspect, replace the pan seal, and then toss in a bit heavier oil. I was going to go with 20W50, but the old dude at the JY told me that I need to run straight 40 weight in this engine..... Thoughts???

oh, and the lift and 33's are put on hold until further notice. I'm not sure when I'll have to time to tackle it. I might just hold off until the spring....I'm undecided. The new puppy is doing great, so I'll be heading up to PA with the fam damily for Thanksgiving afterall.

I've got an 89 Cherokee and the headliner hangs down like a circus tent. What was under your fabric when you took it off?

My headliner was completely thrashed and crumbling from my leaking sunroof, but it looked like it was just some insulation up there. There was no fiberboard or anything. If you DO have fiberboard under there I would just pop it out and reglue it. Easy fix. . . wish that's all I had to do

I put 10w40 in there last week when I changed the oil. I'll be dropping the pan to inspect the oil pump and hopefully find some crap blocking it or something to explain my oil pressure issues. I MIGHT do it today, but it's still a bit ugly outside and I'm feeling lazy, so if not today then I'll do it Sunday. I'm not sure what I'll be putting in it after that. I'll probably just go with the 20w50 since I already bought it.
