3" ome medium duty leafs $108 ea

so i've been using lift blocks, and am now going to order some new springs, and was wondering if any one has tried these? i've heard their good springs, settle and that they ride better than stock
how high do they actually sit when their new?
how long do they take to settle, and how high do they stay after they ?

I have the heavy duty version of these. They do ride and flex great. Mine settled down to exactly the advertised lift height, but then again they are a different spring rate. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

where can you get the heavy duty? and how much do they cost? i usually pack a lot of crap in and drive on the beach a lot, and some times tow stuff
the ones i found were here http://www.4by4connection.com/cherokeexj.html and the only heavy duty ones here are 2"

I don't know if they make a 3" heavy duty. I have the 2" ones. They sit at 2.5" unloaded but I took out the overload leaf (about .5" thick) so you might get 3" out of them even though they say only 2". I got mine from quadratec.

I have the CS034RA light duty springs. Gives a great ride and flexes very well - and if you find they are too soft, OME makes an add-a-leaf (D22XL) that can be added which aparently increases the springrate by 20%.

the medium load OME packs advertise 3" but people have run them on their cherokee's and gotten 2 - 2.5". I dont know why the medium load advertises at 3" and the light and heavy duty ones advertise at 2". give em a call and im sure they can answer your questions.

Strange, I have an OME catalogue that I got from the dealer and there are only tow options listed, light and medium and on both the add-a-leaf can be added. Both these also are listed to give 2" lift.

I think its usually the goofy retailers that say 3" which causes confusion. My CS034RA's gave me 2.5" I think most get the same results.

As for the ride, I am very happy. I load my tools everyday probably close to 200lbs, I hardly notice any sag with the extra weight.

i am about to order the whole KIT springs + shocks but i have few concerns
will i need a TC drop ?
Is the light load TOO soft ( body roll) ? its a DD.
Or should I get the heavy load and remove the over load leaf ?

The HD packs ride well, flex well, and give you the option of loading up the xj with aftermarket bumpers/skids/etc without losing as much lift. I would go with the HD lift, although I haven't had any experience with the light one.
