I don't know but it for sure isn't a 98 model. It looks like an 89 model to me.

lmao... now that you say that it does look older than a 98. I really didnt pay that much attention to the pictures because they arent that great.

see what he says about miles and whatnot, dead spot could be anything, i had a dead spot it was just o2 sensors

It is older than a 95 because it doesn't have an air bag in the steering wheel like the 95-up models.

160k isn't bad if you can get a read on the engine, if it has leaks, whats been replaced, what hasn't, that kind of thing.. let us know what you find and see if we can help out with anything further

I didnt even check it out because im wanting something newer and with less miles. What im looking for is a 96-01, i6, 115K or less, 4door. Its gonna be my DD and I want it to last me atlease 4 or 5 years.

The engine they say it has doesnt sound right. Didnt they stop putting the EFI 4.0 in the xj's back in the early 90's?

its just a 4.0, they just put EFI for whatever reason, its Fuel injected thats all that matters, youll see all kinds of SFI, EFI MFI, they just add it, haha

anyway about the actual jeep, looks clean in the pics, still a bit pricey if you ask me though

Yea i think it is too. I just like the fact that it has the 242 in it
