2000 XJ front windshield wipers jumping
My Front wipers start jumping after about fifteen minutes of use weather its raining hard or soft. Ive tried expensive wipers and cheap ones. It doesn't matter if they are new or not. Is there a place to oil the motor or will i more then likely have to replace it. The XJ currently has only 61000 miles one owner with me being the second. Thanks for the help.

Remove the wiper arms from the Jeep, run the wipers for as long as needed to diagnose if the wiper motor or the wiper arms are the source of the jumping. The wiper motor or mechanical linkage may need to be replaced. I the problem is the wiper arms, try a brand name car cleaner/wax on the windshield glass. I have done it and it helps.
