2000 cherokee xj! Washed engine will not start!!!

Okay I Already Know.. I Shouldn't Have Done It, But Yeah I Pressure Washed My Engine Bay. It Was Not Running When I Done It, Probably A Bad Idea...
It Just Cranks And Cranks Until The Battery Dies, It Is Firing It's Almost Like Its Getting No Fuel. I Have Dried Out The Distributor And Plug Wires Still Nothing! I Sprayed Starting Fluid In The Intake And It Fired Right Up! Let It Idle For Around 5 Minutes And Drove It Down The Driveway And Back And It Ran Perfect, Shut It Off Now It Just Cranks.... I'm So Confused Please Help

The engine management sensor that is most susceptible to water (they all are to a degree) is the throttle position sensor.

You said you have a 2000 and you dried out the distributor and plug wires? The 00-01 doesn't have a distributor or plug wires; coil rail ignition system. Is yours converted?
