$20 Headliner fix

Hello again.
My headliner was sagging so bad that I could not stand it anymore.
I went to Joanne Fabrics and in the clearance fabric section I found a gray(matches my interior), felt back vinyl. All you need is three yards and it gives you some wiggle room. That cost 12.00

At home depot I went and purchased carpet adhesive for felt back carpeting(about $8). After prepping the headliner(getting all the old crumbs off by wiping it down), I took a trowel and gooped the adhesive on(2 quarts of it). To dry it I put board pieces on it with some weight to press it together for 24 hrs(should wait 36 hrs)

I mounted it up and now it is mint!

I would put up a pic but how do I get a pic frm my desktop to the message? URL???

same here

I just did the same thing on my 97 XJ.... we did it in black rather than grey. I used a little heavier fabric from walmart... $13 and spray on adhesive... like $5. Still sags in a few places but its a ton better
