2 more inches

i am going to try to get 2 more inches on my xj. i have 4.5 right now. i have a slip yoke for the rear on its way for when i get my 2 more inches. but will i be alright with the front drive shaft? or will i need an extended one of those too?

I don't think the Front Driveshaft is in question until about 8.5 inches.

you will definately want to do a t-case drop, or better yet take the $150 and buy the SYE, you cant beat that...

I'm at about 11 inches now, and havent had to touch the front shaft yet.

ddoffroad...He already said that his SYE is on the way. Sounds like all you will need are longer shocks. Yours from the 4.5 will work, but will not last as long, and will limit your travel. Longer sway bar links, or disconnects and maybe longer brake lines. That's all I can think of.

sorry, looks like i missed that part. Then it looks like you'll be all set. Longer shocks would be nice like 91XJLimited said. Just put it togeather and see how it feels. Then make adjustments after that....

thanks guys. i appreciate the help. i have rubicon express quick dosconnects right now, will i need longer ones? or will those be ok with just 2 inches more? thanks again.

Get the JKS discos there adjustable
