sorry for the lack of daylight pics.

Saw your bumper so I read back a few pages but still got a few questions. I was reading on the website for it and it said you have to do minor metal trimming. What metal did you have to trim?

good looking rig by they way

I noticed that your fenders have a slight black on the edge... Is that just painted, or is that some kind of thin rubber channel like tubing? ive been looking back a few pages cause im sure you stated some where in the thread.. so I apologize. Just curious! It looks good and I would like to protect whats left of my fenders as well..

and I just took my truck out wheeling and its still rubbing like crazy.. a few weeks back, I took a hammer and beat the living **** outta that one inner 'ridge' that connects the side panel to the floor pan.

just bent that lip in to make it rounded, also got about another inch outta it

I honestlty think i'd have some serious damage if I hadnt done that. Thought i'd share since your running a simular set-up.. plus, I think your tires were a bit more than mine!

that rubber wheel well surround looks to me like its just good ol' wheel well and door trim. At murrays auto its like 7 bucks a roll and it has adhesive already in the channel. I used two rolls on my fronts with about 3 feet to spare. BTW lookin good mill. I dig the wheels... makes me want to ge trid of the soft 8's already....

You have to cut away some of the bracket that is by the horns because the frame tie ins dont allow it to be there. Its nothing substantial. The support for the front fenders that looks like this \| right by the horns is all. For 96 and below youll have to cut that part of the front fender that ties into the air dam or whatever.

Heh yeah ive got to address that issue too. You can use the cut and fold method on it just like on the rear spot welds too to get some more out of it.

Thanks man. I was hoping they would look good. Yep the stuff is just some door trim i got at autozone. Didnt come in rolls, but maybe 2 ft strips with the 3m adhesive.

That's what I ended up doing. I've got 2" of additional bumpstop (two hockey pucks) so I ended up trimming to the point that there is only 7/8" of sheet metal below the body line at the highest point of the opening.
