1999 xj 33k original miles

Ok, I bought a 1999 cherokee se from the City of Bellevue Wa, with 33,000 miles, but I wanted to upgrade to some 31 inch aggressive tires. Will jeep wrangler wheels fit, and what years will fit. Will Grand Cherokee whels fit??

Its almost like an XJ that's been frozen in time. Theres not many people on here with under 100k miles on their XJs hahahahhaahha. (well their probably are) but you're lucky, its barely even been broken in. Take good care of it and you'll have it run past 200k miles easy.

To answer your question, yes, I'm pretty sure the wranglers and the grands all use the same 5-bolt pattern so they should go right on, but if you want aggressive 31's, you'll probably need some form of lift so you don't rub...

XJ's can fit 30's stock (with no lift)

I'm running these, but with a 2" shackle and spacer lift for some extra suspension travel.

dude you need to take pics of your bright orange XJ!! sounds sweet! and all TJ and YJ wheels will fit your cherokee, its a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, and all ZJ wheels are 5x4.5, the 1999 and up grand cherokees ( WJ ) are 5x5 and so are the JK wranlger wheels, therfore they will not fit your jeep, well that is without wheel spacers.

youll need a lift to run 31s, that is unless you want to trim your fenders, but idk if youll want to do on a such a young body immediately. Haha

and compcrasher ive got 58 FWIW haha

I agree, don't go cutting your fenders this early! A bright orange J would be sick, I wonder what color it was originally? Look under the carpet or on some interior painted metal and see what it was. If its white, you've got my

It was originally white, I put in 4 wheel drive to test it, and it went in smooth. I am thinking of getting it painted patriot blue like a 04 Rubicon I had---so I cannot go above 30" tires or it will rub???

If this is an amber fire pearl Jeep, I really hate you. I almost followed an old lady home one day to try and see if she would take mine for hers when mine was still new to me
