1999 Cherokee Sport - Heater & AC problems

Just wanted to see if I could get some feedback on a used 99' Cherokee Sport I picked up.

All in all the Jeep is in good condition. My only complaint is that the heater and AC aren't working correctly.

A brief summary of the problems are;
1. Both the AC and HEATER will only blow if the setting is turned up to 4. If the dial is selected to 3,2,1 it does not blow at all.

2. Heater blows warm air - not hot

3. AC doesn't blow cold

Any Ideas on what might be causing the problems?

Thanks

Read through the older threads, these are common problems and have been discussed already. The previous threads are all here is waiting for you to discover.

1) Get a new blower motor resistor. Inspect the control panel switch for damage

2) Service the cooling system, drain, flush, new thermostat, re-fill with fresh 50-50 coolant. Flush the heater core.

3) Service the A/C, make sure the R-134a coolnt is fully charged.
