1998 XJ Shocks mount trouble.

I was doing my xj lift and when I was taking the bolt out of the unibody that holds the rear shocks in, it snapped. I was wondering if I could/should just weld the shocks in? Any help or advice? Thanks

shock screws snapped in unibody

When taking out My rear shocks the bolts snapped inside the unibody. I've heard this is a common thing in xjs. Is there anybody that this happened too? I can't get them out and just thought to weld the shocks in... any help or advice?

just punch the nut threw with a punch and hammer and then you can fish bolts down with some wire threw the open space in the mount and put nuts on them its really pretty easy
