1998 cherokee tick once warm

Hello recently bought a 98 cherokee se with 108000 miles all stock but i have a slight tick after warm up . I've already checked flex plate bolts all tight . Any other suggestions ?would a stethoscope be able to pinpoint it I have oil pressure 30 at idle? Is there a way to tell the difference between lifter tick and piston slap and which is less damagaing to the vehicle ? Any advice or info is appreciated.

FYI, there will always be some kind of ticking noise, usually unrelated to rpms at normal operating temperature. This is your EGR solenoid clicking. The solenoid is attached to the passenger side firewall near the hood bracket and has a rubber bushing on it that's probably shot and causing it to move around a bit, they also tend to click louder when they get old. So check that first and see if that's what's causing your problem. If you can post a video of your problem, it would be easier to help.
