Good Morning guys,
On Sunday night, the Jeep refused to start. The interior lights, gauges, radio, etc. had no problems at all. Upon turning the key nothing would happen. A friend tried an unconventional approach and used a stick to tap the starter and that seemed to do the trick for the moment, as I turned the key and the engine struggled a moment and finally started up.
Monday morning I had to repeat the procedure to drive my kid to school, but after that everything seemed to be fine. The Jeep started with no problems at all.
This morning (Tuesday) we ran into the same situation and began to do some research: What I came up with is that I may be having problems with the starter/selenoid or the relay. Perhaps that is why the
tapping method worked for a moment?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
