1990 Clunk Clunk Clunk When Turning

When I turn the jeep to the right it makes a weird loud clunking noise... as if your going up on a rollercoaster and it didn't stop until the wheel is straight, theres no noise when turning left only when turning right....

jack up the front end until the front tires are off the ground. grab the top of the tire and check for any play in the wheel bearing. if there is any play on either side you may have a bad wheel bearing.

its very vague, does it increase with speed? where do you feel the clunk? im thinking it could be the exhaust hitting the cross member. never said anything about a t-case. i figure to check the simple easily repairable things first.

Alright I don't know where it is but it's the same at every speed but it starts at about 10-15mph and all the way up only when turning right though and I thought it would be the tire rubbing somewhere but it's not so I'm unsure of what it is...

Could be tie rod ends in steering, ball joints, control arm bushings or track bar mounts.

Mine was a worn hole (ovaled out) in the lower track bar mount on the axle. That can be fixed by welding a piece of steel over the front of the bracket with the correct sized hole drilled in it. That bolt is a 10mm.

there is no play at all anywhere with the steering... I was thinking it was the tie rods but I'm unsure it only clunks though no hop or anything just clunking..

Have someone turn the wheel with the truck on the ground and watch the track bar. It is subtle, but it can move if there's something worn on it.

Sounds like a bad hub/bearing to me. When my hub went bad it would make that noise, and it would get worse when I turned left, but would go away when I turned right... because it was adding/removing pressure from the failing bearing. The new stock hub cost me $130 and was easy to install once I had a gear puller ($20 at Harbor Freight)
