So did any cherokees come with 16" wheels because I've got a set of 5 bfg ats in a 285/75/16 size that the more i look them i want to put them on my jeep. I just dont want to have to order new rims. So I was wondering if they ever came with 16s. Another this is what would be a good backspacing for these tires because I have no idea.
Yes, they did. They were called the "icon" wheel. They were only offered on the last few years, roughly 99-01 ish. I think they might have also been offered in a dark-gray finish, not sure on that though. Keep your eye on ebaymotors, a set pops up every few weeks.
Im also guessing they dont go for cheap. I think I might be better ordering some 16" steelies from quadratec or somthin. But i still dont know what backspacing to run
you can also get moabs which are 16" rims. they're the rims that come on the rubicon. however, you may have to trim to get those tires under your jeep. a 285/75 is approximately a 33" tire
