100,000... I remember that... start saving for the replacement header, from what I've seen you have about a 2/3 chance of needing one in the next 10,000, haha

Ya, I've got the ticking sound in the morning for the first 3-5 minutes, then it goes away. Has anyone had the ticking sound constantly while driving and it won't go away?

Ticking sound like a lifter while driving? Yeah, 1/2 can seafoam in the oil for about 500 miles. No, it wont cause your seals to start leaking or make you engine explode. It fixed my lifter noise I was having.

ya, it does sound like lifter tap. but if it was a lifter, would it go away after 5 minutes?

Yes , it might. Changing temp in the oil could change things if the lifters are on the border of being bad.

Wow.
So, how much of the original motor is left? Surely you have gone through a few generations of water pumps and such, right?

Wife's has 124,xxx and I just turned 100,000 last weekend. (100,099 right now).

We should have a 100,000 club (then a 200,000 and 300,000 club)
