'01 cherokee sport power windows

Having a problem with the ddm drivers power window, door lock, and mirror control. Drivers window will not move ... problem as it is now down and rain is on its way!

A new window regulator was installed exactly one year ago for this drivers window. No issue until the past few days as the button control would take a few attempts to work .. then now nothing happens.

I can's find a free copy of the service manual which would be handy.

I did see that no fuses were blown. I did 'borrow' an exact same DDM part# 56009461AC. And the same results. everything working except the drivers window and the rear left passengers window( which hasn't worked for several yrs.)
I cleaned the contacts and wiring harnesses. The path of the window does not seem to be impeded.

Please see the pictures attached.

Anyone have any good working ideas? Thanks in advance. The manual would be nice to have if anyone can share.

Check continuity on the power window motor and switch wires. Apply 12 volts directly to the window regulator, see if it works.

A recent Gallup public opinion poll shows the NRA, at 58% approval, has a higher approval rating than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Thanks to Tim for his suggestion on supplying voltage to the window motor.
Here's what happened.... the window motor did not work after the attempt to supply 12 volts direct and also switching polarity. So I figured that the 1-year replacement motor somehow got fried and was preparing to order a replacement for $150+

So I got curious and figured what the heck, lets see how far I can take the motor apart as I knew that the DDM control was good. This is where it got interesting. After looking at that the motor and seeing that nothing was really smoked or fried or broken I took a look inside the solenoid. A tiny piece of plastic from one connector must have over heated and very slightly covered the contact ... thus no electric connection! I cut the plastic away and re connected all connections and supplied 12 volts again. Magic it works!! And the sun is shinning again after the monsoons that occurred this week.
