Sounds like the Offroad Park east of Edmonton, can't remember the name though I went up there from Airdrie, when I lived out there in Alberta. But it does cost $$$. Maverick, you gotta head south and west, out into the forestry a little west of Rocky Mountain House. Amazing wheeling in the Burnt Stick Lake, Burnt Timber, Limestone Mountain areas.

Pack some gear & food (you should anyways to go out there), and maybe some extra gas, and make a weekend out of it. A GPS would be good to have as well. That's what I used to do, it 1h45m drive from Airdrie to get into the James River Valley area.I guarentee you'll see some places to explore along the way. Just make sure you're not the only Jeep or truck, have lots of recovery gear and stay out of the muskeg ... and above all else, have fun!
