I find the speakers sounds okay. Just don't hear the bass enough at low volume. But then my Jeep in noisy because of a flow through exhaust system. But when I crank it up a bit to compensate the bass end is super. and the Sony's 7 band eq helps big time in that. Instead of just a bass, mid and high settings or presets. But I may add in the future the sound bar overhead When I get more $$$
