Just saw Calgary Jeep Association is having a open run on the 13th... wondering if anyone here was planning on going. Would be nice to drive up with some guys.

lol me either...but I think we could probably sneek in. I dont think they would turn us back, but in the event you got stuck and needed tow from the front, some might be a little more hesitant to help you out. Im going to post up and ask em.

Well I was thinking about going...but I dont have front tow points yet, and i got a leak....either transfer case or transmission seal So its gonna have to wait a bit...

Picked up a set of hooks from Princess Auto. $13 a piece rated at 10,000lbs.....and the install.....

ZJ Front Tow Hook Install - Erie Jeep People Forums

Damn I was hoping to head up there with someone, is the leak pretty bad? Im a tech working at Crappy Tire North till 7pm every night this week... if you want to come by we could take a look. It dont take much to pull that t-case as im sure you know. Anyway lemmy know whats up.

Im sure its an easy enuf fix....my buddy with the blue coveralls is pretty handy at that stuff

I just dont have the $$ to do much fixing

I want the factory mounts for the tow hooks if I can help it....I know where there is a set on a 96 ZJ....I just have to get em :S

yea I called around the other day looking for factory hooks, marshall's just sold 3 pair for $25 each I decided to do my own. got the bumper cover off today and the driver side holes drilled out. looks like it will hold up to some tugging...i hope....

The tow hooks I got were already attached a Jeep I got the hooks, but couldnt get the mounts at that time.....I know where they are....Just gotta get to em...dang Jeep is nosed into the ground pretty good tho...ggrrrrr....I havent had a chance to go browse the wreckers at stewart siding yet...
