I've posted this before in another thread, so if you've already seen it - disregard.
I bought it in late Sept when the dealerships were offering all sorts of rebates, discounts etc and making room for the '08's. Anyway, it's an '07 3500 CTD, auto tranny, Mega Cab, shortbed, 4x4 SLT. I needed/wanted a shortbed due to swapping my camper from my '03 2500 to the newer truck. Since buying it, I had the dealer install tow mirrors & rear slider as part of my purchase. Installed a brake controller, camper frame tie-in kit, camper electrical kit, rear air bags, and a Titan Class V tow hitch & 2' extension for the YJ's trailer. After I put ~450 miles on it, I have strictly used it for towing. It's got a little over 1,000 miles of towing on it now. I have ~1,500 miles total on the truck since late Sept when I got it. It tows very nicely. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

thanks i was wondering why it kept striping the code and only posting a link, the campground is slickrock out on the north side of town if i remember the name correctly. nice campground the only problem is the cell service is a little thin, i think next time i will stay in the campground next door to the grocery store in the middle of town, that way the phone will work and i have a chance of getting internet too.

Yep, that campground near City Market (~150 yards to the south) is probably Canyonlands Campground - which is almost always where I stay. I love that place.
I should be there again in May for ~1 week. ![]() |

I tow my Jeep to the trails with a 95 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. cab 2wd truck. It has a 318 and auto trans and does just fine. The truck pulls hard and has not had any problems with a 20 dovetail car trailer, plus my CJ. I would love to have the power of the diesel but sure don't mind the cheaper gas prices. In my opinion, most any type of full size vehicle with a V-8(or 6 cylinder if Cummins) should be just fine.

So do I. By the way, Jodi - are you aware that having fuel actually in your tank will help you get better mileage. With out fuel, 1/n as n approaches infinity.
