'08 Tundra SR5 5.7L with a 16' Kaufman Flatbed with equalizer weight distribution hitch, prodigy break controller, Mac's tiedowns, Warn 1700 winch with hitch mount. I welded a 2" hitch sleeve to the trailer front cross frame to hook the winch on so its detachable.

Nice setup! I like to see these trailers with electric brakes, a quality brake controller, and a good WDH, rather than surge brakes.

Just bought this as a tow pig/drive to school and back truck. Was looking at 12 JKURs but they were a little out of my price range and I'd have to give up the TJ. Being my first vehicle, I couldn't do it. Anywho, this is an 09 Ram 2500 6.7L 6sp. Gotta wait until June to get home to it but I can wait.

For now an 01 dakota quad cab 4x4 4.7 V8 with some goodies done to it. It takes awhile to get up to speed but can do it and once at 65mph, does just fine and gets 11mpg which isnt bad considering I was expecting 6 lol. Next step is a 3/4 ton or 1 ton diesel. My parents are selling their dodge and camper and I am going to buy the equalizer hitch off their setup for mine. I can keep up with traffic if I want to but I like letting the truck work less so I am nice to it when towing and get up to speed using the same amount of skinny pedal if I were accelerating unloaded so if I piss off some ****** in a bmw thats flooring it to every red light, oh well haha

Once this truck is paid off, the hunt begins for a cummins or dirtymax and a gooseneck I can fit a camper and 2 jeeps on.

Aircruiser, nice to see ya over here from the Dakota forum! Anyways I'm in the same boat with making the 4.7 Dakota work for now. But I have a Moab trip in august. Idk if it's up to the challenge to tow the ZJ from IL to Utah though lol..

Nice dude why wouldnt you trust it? I drove mine 300 miles round trip to go pick up my black jeep. Granted 300 miles compared to 1,000 miles is nothing but I just left mine with O/D off, cruised at 2400rpms and no worries. I think august me and some friends are going to colorado to wheel but I will throw my jeep on the 44' goose with 2 other jeeps and haul it with the F350 haha

EDIT: forgot ZJs are like an extra 1,000lbs haha. My truck hated pulling my ZJ but that was also with the skid steer trailer we had at work that was like 2k lbs dry.

The old trailer -

The new trailer I'm in the slow process of finishing and rebuilding, smaller, lighter, purpose built for the Jeep -

The start -

framed and decked -

All that's left to do is the new fenders -

^ I like that trailer, I had considered doing something like that until I got a steal of a deal on the trailer I have now. I used to haul my jeeps on the bob cat trailer we got at work which was a 28' 2,000lb trailer and that thing pulled empty like my new one does now loaded. My new one I can barely feel behind the truck when its empty. This was the trailer I towed with before:

Nice trailer and I am sure it pulls nice behind work's F350 7.3 dually but my truck hated it haha
