No one uses a Jeep to tow their Jeep, I figured someone would have a CRD or SRT8 to tow their trail rig.

Also , no one seems to be towning with their CRD, mine was just bought to tow my quads around and car to the track.

Grands, even ones with the Hemis and CRD's are less than desirable as tow rigs when towing something that weighs as much as another Jeep. I'm willing to bet that a Jeep on a car hauler is pushing the limits of what a WK would be capable of anyways.

that's actually how I started out -> flat towing the TJ behind the 5.9 liter ZJ
But there's plenty of threads on here discussing on whether or not to tow (or flat tow) with a Grand Cherokee (or other Jeep)

in my case the 'getting going' was no problem, the stopping is another thing

replaced my diesel with a 2005 Expedition limited.... now im towing with heated and cooled leather seats, getting the same fuel mileage as the diesel, but $0.60 less per gallon! Only downfall was it being black, but was a great price, now to touch-up all the rock chips!

95YJ 2.5 AX5 NP231 HP30 4.88 and aussie, 8.8 4.88 mini spool, 4" RC, 1.5" Boom shackles, 1" BL, 1" rear stretch, 36 12.5 15 TSL SX's, trimmed front fenders, bedlined exterior, comp cut coming soon!

That pic is from when I first picked it up this summer. There have already been a handful of changes with MANY more in the works. Stay tuned...

Nice, I love the older tow rigs! If I didn't have the Duramax and need the extended cab I would have built a diesel 68-72 Chevy 1 ton

There's something I like about the older Dodge Dullies

I'm not married just yet and no kids currently or planned for the near future. My Fiance does think that the truck is ugly, but she know's my suburban sucks. She also knows that since I work at Cummins, I just have to have a Cummins...

There's several Cummins Repowers in Columbus, IN. Rangers, older Fords, Chevys...
