today i realized that replacing the water pump was a bigger job than I originally thought.

First frustration
Everything is bolted to the water pump just about, vac, AC, PS.

2nd
the pump is bolted to the Timing cover which I did not realize

3rd
had to cut the lower rad hose off (the expensive one) because it was stuck on the old pump and while trying to pry it off, I started to puncture it

tomorrow i'm going to get a new hose, more coolant, RTV, a small hose to connect the pump to the T stat, and what ever else I think I need.

- - Never-ending fixes to travel trailer - -

Got new tires on camper - old ones dry-rotted

The wife broke one of the old scissor jacks with the j-crank bolt.
So I purchased and installed two new scissor jacks with a solid bolt style crank. Replaced the broken one and another j-crank that was looking kina rusty.

Then she broke the latch that keeps the main door open.
Guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend too!

finally drove it after a month or so.

One INjection pump, one starter, and countless hours, and it runs again... woo hoo.

I didn't realize my starter was that bad until I cranked up the new one.
