I'll take the electronically adjustable added power and electronic diagnostic abilities of a modern electronic pump over a mechanical pump. I don't have to worry about a cheap lift pump taking out my VP, because I don't have a cheap lift pump. As long as you keep plenty of pressure the VP44 is fine.

My FASS was $635. You could use a Vulcan big line kit with a Walbro 392 (great pump, I run one on my jeep) or even a Holley inline pump, probably put together the whole system for under $300. I just didn't feel like peicing together stuff from different places, and I wanted the filters on the frame instead of under the hood.

today I got a big tree off of it that fell on it some time today.

we didn't have any storms and no wind today (clear blue skies). My dad picked up his truck today ( I keep it on the back part of some property he has), and when he went to drop it off he called me and saw this...

Got a truck camper today. Pics below. Got it for 100.00 in gas for the owner to drop it off from Chicago and a case of Busch light. Looks like I have a little work ahead of me, but the price was right. Exterior was all resealed not long ago, need to finish part of the interior. The fridge, stove, A/C, DVD player all work. One more step closer to using this thing.

Hell Bent Steel. $70 shipped! Extremely easy (even with my impact wrench dying). Hardest part was getting the shock back on the mount

Today I removed the Rear hitch, ground off the rust and old paint. Then soaked it with some rust remover.
replaced the missing sway bar link
plugged in a 4 way adapter and that plugs into a 7 way adapter.

Just need to run the wire for the brakes and brake controller.
