Tow rig F250 Powerstroke Edge A2 installation/writeup

I recieved my Edge Juice platinum with the A2 Display and back up camera for the 05 F250 6.0L powerstroke. For those that arent to familiar with Diesels and chips, this is just one of the many companies that makes chips for diesels. There are a few companies that make more power then the Edge tuner....but 115Hp and 230Ft/lbs of torque was more then enough for me. Plus the huge bonus to the Edge tuners over other companies is there shift on the fly technology. This allows you to adjust the power from stock trim all the way to a level 6 which is the max for power and torque. Level 0 is the stock setting, 1 is for mileage and heavy towing with the stock drivetrain...2 is for light towing and more power...3 is for regular driving with stock drivetrain and level 4-6 are race tunes that make the most power the higher the level. Overall saying this is a well engineered and a thought out product is a huge understatement. The A2 in cab display is that allows the user to adjust all of the fuel settings, level settings, backup camera and Tom Tom navigation. You can set the transmission settings for the amount of defueling between shifts, firmer shifts, torque converter lockup, low boost fueling, alert settings for EGT's, boost...etc. You can set the tuner to backdown if you want to give your drivetrain more protection. The options are numerous, they include 5 instruction manuals to go through each parameter of the A2. The Tom Tom navigation is great with the touch screen its very easy to use and well suited. Once again there is a nice instructional pamplet to explain on how to use the software if your not familiar with how it works. Im not to savy with navigation but this is so simple you dont need to be savy to work it. This comes with all of the standard software any tomtom unit would come with. The list goes on....there is a performance test section which allows you to do 0-60, 1/4 mile, highest horsepower, and so on. Im not sure how this works, but I believe its just like the g-force unit that you can use on any car. It seemed to work pretty well, results were very repeatable, and seemed to be reasonable. Lastly and most importantly for a tow rig is the backup camera. This is downright amazing. They give you a camera that mounts where the license plate bolts to the rear bumper. The design is ingenious. It bolts through the mount of the camera, and over the license plate. In case your worried about your camera being stolen, edge took care of that with the lock keeps it from being ripped off. The lock covers the bolt heads so they arent accesible to remove the camera with using the keys to remove the cover. The use of the camera is as simple as hitting a button on the A2 display and watching what is behind you. The camera has some type of technology that allows it to see at night. Dont know how it works but it does. As far as installation goes, its easier then changing the air filter on a powerstroke. It took maybe 2 hours from start to finish, and that included pulling out the battery removing the dash bezel to hide the wiring, hooking up the GPS antenna, and running the wires for the camera from the front of the truck down the driverside frame rail to the rear bumper. I know I didnt cover everything but this is all I can think of for right now.

update: Noticed the camera was acting up, and not seeming to act quite right. I called Edge and they promptly sent me a new one and I sent the old one back. There customer service is top notch.
