Nothing like buying your engine oil in a five gallon bucket! Oil changed today along with finishing up changing up new fuel injectors return lines caps and fuel filter...

Got the last two windows in the front half of the toter... also chased down one of those intermittent issues with the rough start... turns out the pos lead from the starter to the Glow plug controler (relay) was poor. New fitting and she starts right up! Also here are some close up s of the passageway betwteen the cab and the box... forgat but someone asked to see it?

note the ripped 1" by so I panel up to the window...

and the second widow up in the loft...

and after a hot day... cooling off with my best helper... Helen!

did you cut the glass or replace it with plexi-glass? That looks interesting.

the glass had a small crack in the corner so I replaced with plexi... it was just easier...

No real progress this weekend, headed down to the keys for some sandbar time!

put a new Temp sensor in for the gauge... new weekend I am looking to start insulating the front half of the box...

What came on her when I got her was a plywood cr^p patch job for a rear door... that just would not do! I shopped around and the local truck repair shop would installa new one for about $1000... and that plywood started to look a whole lot better! shopped around and the guys at Diamond were fantastic... learn a ton about what to look for and more i,portantly what to avoid... brand new door with all the hardware... $430 ! shipped for about $125... could not be happier! Thank you Diamond!

not much else this weekend... went out to the everglades on the buggy!

did manage to pic a CB on CL for $20 and a headliner and overhead consol for $100 with the sunvisors... so next week will be busy

Picked up an over head consol from a 4300... cleaned her up and rattle canned it tan... had to drop the headliner and instal a length of 3/4" alum. L to support the front edge...

Working on hooking up the air to the train horns and air ride seats... next is insulating the front of the box...

Crazy weekend with my brother over on the gulfcoast... redneck engineering / recycling an 18' hobie we picked up for $150 with a trailer

after a good bath we decked her over with PT stringers and decked her with PC corragate hurrincaine shutters... snagged a leaning post that came of a neighbors trashed boat... and a 1980 Johnson 15 HP on loan...

Wet Kitty is born... 9" draft 25 MPH and the ultimate sandbar cruiser...

so I have a pretty good excuse for neglecting progress on the Toter...

Progress continues... started insulating the front of the box... last weekend ran it up to a show n shine with the club RTI ramp in the front and my '65 CJ AKA Old Red in the back... up and back no woories...

also scored a consol from a newer model International... rattle canned it tan. had to intall a 3/4" alum. angle across the cab under the head liner so I could support the front edge... I think it came out pretty sharp... also added much needed storage.

also had a bit of a distraction... did a little redneck engineering...

recycled a18 sailing cat into a sandbar cruiser... check out wetkitty barcat on facebook...

basically decked over with PC huricane panels and added a 15HP outboard to cruise out to the local sandbar scene... and what a scene it is!

OK... got the inside insulated (front half) then FRP panels on the wall and roll wave roofing up on the ceiling. used panel edge on the walls to capture the edge of the roofing... finished out pretty nicely...

wall paneled

ened up replacing an intermitent alt.... was tired of it somethimes working... remanned unit was ony $78... no core charge so I will have the old unit rebuilt as a spare

3/4 insulation on the walls and 1.25" on the roof... much cooler inside! still need to work on the bulkhead between th egarage and the living quarters...
