Think it's worth it?

Been looking for a trailer to tow behind the TJ and find this gem on Craigslist. Guy's asking 500.

Not a big trailer buyer, so looking for opinions?

I think it'd be pretty tough to build for under that. Go for it

they look like PVC?

Add some fender flares and it'll look sick.

Oh no sir... 1/4" wall steel tube welded to the body. The body is 3/16" diamond plate over 2"x2" tube frame. Painted with bed liner. All welded very nicely.

He could probably get more.

I'm going back for it Monday. Need to wire up a light connector and get a 2" ball.

This thing is pretty slick.

You say it looks like a quality build. Okay.

Tires and wheels, 200 bucks minimun.
Axle, 100
Lights, 30-50 bucks, depending on "whole kit" price
wiring, 30 bucks
tow rig and trailer wiring connector, 15-30 bucks (plastic or metal)
trailer tounge, 25 bucks, give or take
metal, maybe a cupla hundred, maybe less

wiring tow rig if not already equipped ( if you buy or build, same for both, so moot point)

time to create, welder to weld, and other tools to build... your call

I vote buy it!

oh, BTW... are safety chains required in your state for that size trailer?
