I've been seeing them as OEM equipment on a few cargo haulers too.

I'm so lost! I have had tons of idea's on building trailers, but can't seem to make up my mind. I think just a basic box trailer with a lid and triangulated airbag suspension would be the best for what I actually need. I was looking at the spec sheet for a new fire truck at work, and noticed that the box body on the back was made of HDPE. Now I'm thinking that a trailer made of HDPE would be killer. I have seen skid plates lined with it, and all sorts of other cool stuff done with it! This stuff is super tough, it's what the white plastic cutting board in your kitchen is made of! Think of a trailer body made outta 1/2" thick HDPE!!! I'm going to the local retailer tomarrow to get a price quote on 3 4'x8' sheets in black! If I can do the entire trailer for $600 or less then you may see a pic of mine soon. I just wanted to get some feed back on the idea.

Great looking trailer man! I love that lid, still need to design one like it when I get freed up. That thing is killer!

The trailer wheels came off of a Jeep so I can interchange just incase I have a flat.

I'd get a lot more use out of something like this than most of the others here. I'd like to be able to haul anything from 4x8 sheets of drywall to a garden tractor or quad bike, to a ton of topsoil on a tarp.
