Scott, this trailer is designed and build by So-Cal Teardrops in Upland California. Each trailer is hand made according to the options that you choose, no two are exactly alike. They will basically do just about anything that you request, we had a blast working with Mike and Gabe customizing our trailer just the way WE wanted it! Lots of fun...

Sgt Utz.. I hear ya'! I did the same thing. Did a ton of research, spent months looking for an LJ in decent shape... all in hopes that it would have enough room for the boy and I to camp. No Way... We did one winter camping trip and I started looking for an offroad trailer the day I got home. If your camping more than 1 night, and dont want to eat MRE's.. a trailer is a must. I really want to take the next step with it and put a RTT on it. Doing research now on what tent to get.

My junk...'05 LJ Rubi, 4" Fabtech SA, 33" MT's, 8.5K Winch w/Synthetic, Trailer made from YJ tub... and other crap to spend $ on.

HAHAHAHA... yea.. probably bringing too much crap. bad habits from my other camping rig.. a Suburban and popup camper for when the wife a daughter goes. But I tell ya', that trailer is handy. Cooler, chairs, chainsaw, fuel, food and supply boxes, tarps, poles, blah, blah, blah... makes it easy. And the tub trailer pulls great. I have not taken it through the toughest of trails, but what I have drug it over, it worked like a champ.

Love the umbrella! Haven't seen that before on an off-road trailer.

Here's mine. It was a wedding gift and was made by Tough Terrain. It's pretty basic right now, though the hitch is a nice touch. In the future I intend to repaint it and the jeep together in a slightly darker blue and black combo and add 31" tires to the trailer. Eventually it will also have a rooftop tent. For now, it works great for hauling our camping equipment around when we head out.

This is not a picture of my trailer, but the hitch is identical.

Its a great hitch. My prior trailer had a pintle and I didnt like the clunking very much. This works much better. I park the trailer outside so I cover it with a trash bag to keep it dry when its parked. Before I pull it each time I just pump some grease in it and its ready to go. It will follow the Jeep anywhere it goes.

I should also mention that its really easy to secure too... I just leave the hitch lock through there and locked when i park the trailer. The higher quality hitch locks are hardened steel and would be quite a challenge to cut through.

^No doubt.

So I assume that's a custom build or does anyone sell the components?

The trailer was built by Tough Terrain and ordered with that hitch. I'm pretty sure you can order just the hitch. Here's the site:
