Where did you guys get the axles and/or hubs to mount the Jeep rims? I would like to mount 07 18" rims on my trailer.
Thanks

You can find the hubs/axles at any trailer supply. You would need 5 x 5 bolt pattern for the hub, but you may need a spacer to mount the stock JK rims on the hub because the hub may not fit inside the center hole of the wheel.
Good luck.

Anybody have simple solution to beef up my pop up trailer? I'd like to put a standard 15 inch rim in and tires. Will I have to do a ton of work?

I plan to sandblast and repaint it, make new racks and a canvas cover, and I'm also thinking about making a platform for the top that will let me set up a military shelter half on it.

Coincidentally, I also drive a '92 YJ... at least until I rebuild the '80 CJ5 w/ hardtop that's in my backyard.

my trailer

This is the m100 I picked up for $450 bucks that needed a lot of work. I switched out the hack job tongue for a channel and pintle hook. The trailer is really rough and needs a new frame, flooring, and the tail gate was cut out. I have an extra chrylser 8.25 and dana 30 that I was thinking about swapping the axles for... what do you think? Too much weight? Good Bad idea having the same width as my rig?

I hate to discourage you on using the 8.25 or Dana 30 but it won't be something you will be happy with in the long run. Those axles are extremely heavy. Also, the pumpkin will limit up travel unless you flip the springs to the top (SOA) of the axle.

I tried to do the same thing with my Dana 35.

I had pictures of the failed attempt but can't seem to find them right now. The only picture of that day was my buddy at work being a goof with the original axle after we rolled it out from under the trailer.

The m416 only had about 4 inches before it made contact with the underside of the tub. I think a few pic's are on my build.

Good luck.

Tent on top, good idea.

Make top removable so tent could be set on ground.

Consdider hole in floor to access items in trailer or basement sleeping.

Two story tent !!!
