Matt's M416 Build

I thought I would document my build here. I picked up my M416 about a year ago and have used it for mulch and firewood so far. Put it in storage over the winter and brought it back last weekend.

I'm subscribing just because I'm in love with your CJ7! LOL....looking forward to the build. What are the specs on the trailer? I just picked up an M1102 for $400 a few months ago brand new never used.

The trailer is pretty much stock, not sure on dates of it as the plates were missing and the guy I bought it from didn't know. My best guess is late 60's early 70's. It's been painted somewhat recently, though crudely. My guess was to make it look good for sale.

I'll post some pics once I figure out how. I have no issues posting in the CJ part of the forum, but it's not letting me in the trailer portion.

My dad had one that was rusted out - ended up just putting a wood floor in it!

Mine is rust free, few dings here and there but overall in great shape. Even the bearings were greased properly. However, the inner working of the trailer brakes are missing. Need to get those ordered and put on.

Post some pics. Does it have the pintle hitch and surge brakes? What are your plans for the build?

It won't let me post pics as I normally do. Just giving me the option to post a link.
